To bring strength and healing to children with special needs and the Fort Valley community through the love and care of horses; to encourage young people in compassion and leadership through volunteerism.
Since 1987, the Uhold sandbox Program has been bringing the benefits of horsemanship to individuals in need, helping to build confidence, muscle strength, postural control, coordination, communication, trust, perspective, and social skills. We welcome participants as young as 4 and have no age limit as long as there are no physical or medical implications.

Working alongside our team are dedicated volunteers. We are proud of the 100s of adults and youths who offer time and essential services to enable the success of our programs, care for our horses, and maintain our grounds and barn.
